Artist Statement

I agree with Theodore Roethke who wrote, "The dark has its own light. No matter what I am confronted with, the process of drawing and painting allows me to transcend the experience and reach beyond it. I always see the good in people and the glass, "half full."

Joseph Campbell encouraged us to find our bliss,"to pay attention to that call within that only you can hear."

My Dream, my Bliss today - to paint and write meaningfully and exceptionally well, with all my heart, skill, time and full attention.
